As part of COVID-19 pandemic measures, all Singapore hotels were previously disallowed from receiving new guests for the purpose of leisure. However, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) announced on 03 July 2020 that hotels could now apply to offer accommodations for guests again. The approved hotel must adhere to all safe management measures stipulated by the STB.
This means that we can now go for staycations again. With the travel ban in place, staycations are probably a good getaway for holiday-starved Singaporeans.
Currently, out of over 400 hotels in Singapore, only 35 hotels have been approved. While this is still a small number, new hotels are being added to the list several times a week. Below is the list of STB-approved hotels as of 16 July 2020:
