Song Fa Bak Kut Teh is a famous BKT chain based in Singapore. They also have branches in Indonesia, China, Bangkok and Taipei.

Song Fa serves the peppery-style bak kut teh. I have been visiting this long standing restaurant since young to get my bkt fix.

What I Ordered

I like ordering the Pork Tenderloin ($7.90) because it is convenient to eat the sliced lean meat.

However, the Pork Ribs ($8.15) still offers the most tender and fatty meat.

In recent years, Song Fa started serving the Sliced Fish ($8.45) soup. I became a fan after trying the thick and tender fish slices, which do not have any fishy odour at all.

It’s always satisfying to eat the Pig’s Stomach ($7.70) which is chewy, savoury and peppery.

The Salted Vegetables ($2.80) serves as a tasty savoury-sour side dish.

Conclusion

Overall I was pleased with Song Fa Bak Kut Teh’s delivery service. The food was delivered within the stated timeframe, and it was still warm upon arrival. Best of all, there were plenty of soup base given so I could do my own soup top-ups! The flat delivery fee of $3 is also the cheapest I’ve seen in Singapore so far.
