During our two-day holiday in Boston, we stayed at the The Bostonian Boston Hotel, a boutique hotel with elegant and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed our stay here and this is our full review of the hotel.
The Bostonian Boston
The Bostonian Boston is a charming 4 star hotel located in the North End district of Boston. It was previously known as the “Millennium Bostonian Hotel Boston”. The boutique hotel offers elegant and comfortable rooms at great rates. The gym on the second floor was small but well-equipped enough for my resistance-training workout. And I liked that it had complimentary fresh fruits and water. There was free WiFi in our room and the signal strength was excellent during our stay. The North 26 Restaurant and Bar offers delicious food and cocktails. Our favourite part of the hotel was the awesome lobby, which had a quiet cozy area with plush sofas, stylish furnishings, coffee table books and a warm wood burning fireplace. This was a nice place to sit, relax and warm ourselves up while hiding from the cold winter weather.
Elegant and Comfortable Room
We stayed for two nights in the stylish Deluxe Room, which was elegantly designed with a modern touch. The centrepiece of the room was the floor to ceiling headboard which gave the room a luxurious vibe. On the whole, the room felt lush and comfortable at the same time. Some of the premium rooms even have fireplaces, but our room did not have this cool feature. Our bathroom was simple but very clean and spacious. It was well-stocked with toiletries too.
Good Service
We didn’t have much chance to interact with the staff because we were out exploring Boston most of the time. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we entered our room on the first day to find a complimentary bottle of champagne and sweet treats from the hotel. This was because the hotel had found out that we were on our honeymoon when we were making our room reservation. The treats (cheese and berries) were even thoughtfully wrapped with cellophane to keep them fresh. The housekeeping service was on point too; our room was kept clean and tidy every day.
Great Location
The Bostonian Boston is in a wonderful location just opposite the Faneuil Hall Marketplace, a tourist favourite that consists of Quincy Market, Fanueil Hall, North Market, and South Market. The hotel is also within walking distance (ten minutes or less) of many tourist attractions in the North End neighbourhood, such as Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, the Old North Church, and more. Popular eateries like The Daily Catch, Neptune Oyster, and Mike’s Pastry are nearby too!
Conclusion
The Bostonian Boston is a wonderful value-for-money boutique hotel located in the quaint North End neighbourhood, with many nearby tourist attractions. I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Boston the first time.
